ASSEMBLY - MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY FOR SUB-ASSEMBLIES

Integration of assembly processes for an efficient sub-assembly production

For economical production of assemblies, many manufacturing steps can be integrated into one overall process. From an economic perspective, the manufacturing of assemblies on stamping and forming machines offers definite advantages. On a single stamping and forming machine, a number of different work steps and processes can be run in parallel, or in succession.

The result is a consistent manufacturing system which processes raw material to the end product. For example, the assembly manufacturing process assembles prefabricated stamped and bent parts on the BIMERIC servo production and assembly system and, by means of the servo-controlled Pick & Place units, PPE supplied parts or plastic components into ready-to-install assemblies.
