The PLUS in linear technology
At Blechexpo, we will be presenting modular solutions for the efficient linear production of stamped and formed parts and assemblies. With the powerful machine platforms of the Modular Series, high-precision forming tools, and new compact process modules, you will benefit from significantly simplified, flexible, and particularly value-adding production.

High-performance machine platform for your PLUS
The LM 2000-KT offers you new dimensions in the mass production of stamped and formed parts and assemblies with linear tool technology. The cam-controlled machine impresses with maximum precision at very high production speeds of up to 500 parts per minute. With a total machining length of 2,000 mm for cutting tools in the press and up to five tool modules in the forming area, you benefit from plenty of space for value-adding processes.
The LM 2000-KT linear machine is part of the L250 Modular Series. Consisting of the GRM-NC, the LM 2000-KT, the LM 2000-NC, and the BIMERIC, these four powerful, standardized production systems are fully compatible with each other. Uniformly designed linear tools and the new process modules can be set up and transferred independently of the machine according to the “plug & produce” principle, depending on the task.
Added value directly in the forming process
Laser welding module LSM 250
The flexible laser welding module enables high-precision welding of stamped and formed parts directly during the forming process. The LSM 250 combines state-of-the-art fiber laser technology with freely positionable optics around the strip material – all integrated into a modular, maintenance-friendly system with a standardized concept for the protective enclosure.
Assembly module MMI 250
The highly dynamic assembly module meets the highest requirements for cycle performance and process stability with up to 500 parts per minute. Thanks to its integrated sensor technology, servo drive, and modular design, the assembly module is fast and reliable as well as easy to maintain and individually customizable. The MMI 250 is perfectly designed for the assembly of rotationally symmetrical feed parts, such as insulators and touch protection caps for connectors.
Thread forming module GSE 250 / Screw joining module MSE 250
The two processes of thread forming and screw joining can be integrated directly into the forming process in a precise, highly dynamic, and cycle-synchronous manner. Thanks to the consistent modular architecture, users can also integrate and control these two modules uniformly via the L250 Modular Series.
New tooling partner
KLEINER GmbH Stanztechnik became a new tooling partner of Bihler. KLEINER developed the highly complex forming tool for the LM 2000-KT for the production of two-part connectors.
The tool is based on three standardized HLT 250 modules in a 250 mm grid from Bihler. Their particularly high rigidity and robustness guarantee high-precision production under the extreme stresses of mass production. In addition to the forming tool, KLEINER also developed the cutting tool in the press.

With “Bihler Digital” and its digital services for the three areas of engineering, production, and training/support, you can develop faster and manufacture more economically.
Blue & Green
With Bihler technology, you can produce in a significantly more resource-efficient and sustainable manner. With our radial tool solutions, you can save up to 50 percent in cost-intensive material. The reason: the strip width corresponds to the part width. In linear production, you benefit from up to 33 percent material savings, as only one carrier strip is usually required.
Efficient flow production of complete assemblies directly from the raw material to the finished product allows you to increase your product quality while reducing your carbon footprint. This is because time-consuming intermediate steps such as transfer to subsequent machines or shipping of semi-finished components for further processing are completely eliminated.
