With the LEANTOOL progressive system, Bihler complements the revolutionary modular system with regard to the production of even more complex progressive components. The standardized modular tool kit offers decisive advantages: shortest implementation times, up to 50% lower tool costs and fastest time-to-market for your progressive components. Up to 70% of the lean tool are standard parts and blanks.
Individually controllable movements can be implemented in the LEANTOOL progressive system from above, from below and from the side. This ensures an uncluttered layout and maximum versatility for the bending tool. The perfect combination of standardized progressive tool and standardized GRM-NC servo stamping and forming machine reduces setup times to approx. 30 minutes. A large number of components previously produced on presses with progressive tools can now be manufactured much more efficiently and economically with Bihler technology.
The free “Bihlerplanning” WebApp supports you perfectly during the acquisition of orders to be manufactured in accordance with LEANTOOL principles. By using the stored data, your quotations are now noticeably faster and more accurate. The WebApp contains specific information regarding the technical feasibility of a large variety of stamped and formed parts made from strip and wire material.
The WebApp also provides information about the required machine type, required tool components, achievable cycle rates, setup times and processing times for each batch size. This allows an accurate calculation even before the start of production and a critical increase in your response capacity. We are continuously expanding our case studies and other features for component and tool planning for you.
B 20K high-performance welding control system
Easily achieve better resistance welding results. The new B 20K combines all process, measurement and monitoring systems into one comprehensive system. A single inverter covers all sizes between 70 and 220kVA. This means you can use the B 20K flexibly from micro to macro welding. Stepless welding frequencies between 1,000 and 20,000Hz guarantee highly dynamic and refined control.
Five integrated measuring channels allow for perfect process monitoring and a consistently high welding quality. The self-contained power supply ensures highest process reliability and reduces the grid load of the welding process. With the servo axis control system, you can operate up to 18 high-performance Bihler servo axes with maximum flexibility and precision, both on Bihler machines as well as in presses.

Digital transformation currently drives the entire market. Everybody wants to match the pressure of increasing productivity by maximizing system availability. The reply of Bihler to this development is the new BihlerNET digital service platform. With this powerful and secure online solution, you are right at the pulse of your Bihler machine.
Simply log on to your personal area from any device. In the virtual production hall, you will immediately receive digital services and real-time data for your actual Bihler machines, such as a live monitor for optimum machine use. You will also find system specific information such as operating instructions including how-to videos, current 3D models of your machine, as well as, in the future, availability reporting and health diagnosis and a system specific spare parts catalog.
Version NX 12
The new NX 12 version improves the bNX process for Bihler machines even further. The value-adding process impresses with its perfect integration of information and provides an enormous added value for the user. The newly developed strip layout module allows for the simple creation of the strip layout as well as fast and consistent changes. The improved function chart provides new features for all mechanical and servo-controlled Bihler production systems.
As a fundamental building block of the LEANTOOL System, the bNX software also simplifies the construction of lean radial and progressive tools. This means all LEANTOOL standard parts are specified in the reuse library of the design software. You always benefit from significantly reduced development times as well as reliable tools with maximum pulse rate.
BIMERIC servo production and assembly system
The BIMERIC servo production and assembly system is the ideal solution platform for your flexible assembly production. The modular system shows its benefits especially for small and medium batch sizes and if you require a large number of different versions. The intelligent VariControl control platform is the core element of the high-performance machine. It guarantees maximum process reliability and machine availability as well as extremely fast, 100 percent reproducible setup operations.
