| BIMERIC, Laser + CNC continuous path control operable via one control! |
| Geometrical processing of the blank and generation of the CNC-procedure.
The functional integration of the software “Mastercam” in the VC 1 control allows import of the blank geometry in CAD formats as well as definition of the processing orientation. Cutting parameters such as speed and laser power are predefined and adjusted via a material selection table belonging to the installed laser. All parameters are saved as CNC trace files and integrated in the Bihler VC 1 control tool administration. Previously set processing parameters can be implemented directly at the machine when tools are loaded and, as a result, correlate with the handling of a “normal Bihler machine”. In this way no more CNC programming is required for preset tools to operate the machine. |
